Forrest F.

Forrest is a guitarist, composer, and educator residing in Miami, Florida. Forrest grew up in rural Kansas and started studying guitar when he was 16. Forrest's approach to teaching is focused on the students goals and musical interests. Forrest believes in the importance of building a practical foundation of technique and aural skills to facilitate a lifetime of learning. Lessons are focused on learning songs that the student enjoys and using those songs as a vehicle to learn more about music. Forrest received his BM in Jazz Studies from Ottawa University in 2016 and his MA in Music from the Conservatory at the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 2021.
