I’m Derrick —songwriter, producer, and professional audio engineer. I own and operate Bricc By Bricc Recording Studio in Houston, TX, and have years of hands-on experience crafting high-quality mixes and productions. My journey started in the U.S. Navy, but my passion for music led me to engineering, where I’ve worked with independent and major artists alike. I graduated summa cum laude with a Recording Arts degree and am now pursuing a Music degree at SHSU. Beyond the studio, I’m an educator—here to share real-world mixing techniques, industry insights, and the mindset it takes to thrive in music.
