What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
This training will focus primarily on synthesizers and their use. There is limited theory involved in these lessons, as I am primarily a guitarist. However, the scale of these lessons is vast, as they cover hardware and software synthesis, analog, digital, FM, wavetable, granular and sample-based synthesis and synth recording. I also have an enormous modular synthesizer and can offer detailed lessons about how to assemble, patch and utilize this powerful instrument as part of live performance, recording, or just tinkering around for fun.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Expect a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that encourages learning, growth and making mistakes! We learn through repetition and making mistakes, so you can relax and learn at a pace that works best for you.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Learn how to mic drums, guitar and bass cabinets and the room. Explore different techniques for capturing guitar and bass such as modeling, reamping, close micing, etc. Learn what a DAW is and how to navigate it to suit your needs. Master the use of VST plug-ins and mixing. Utilize peripherals and other types of gear to understand the principles of track-at-once and live recording.
