Hi, my name is Jared and I am a guitarist from South Carolina. I have been a student of music for 17 years. My musical influences include AC/DC and I also enjoy modern pop. My teaching style can best be described as fun and engaging. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I try to understand why notes sound good together, then learn how to play the notes. In my lessons, you can expect to learn theory as well as application. I like to tell my students that while music isn't easy, its worth every second. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my student finally nail the guitar solo they've been working on. My favorite performance was my first one, at a local pizza shop in my home town of Loris.
