About Me

My name is Christian. I was referred by my manager, Rose Marie Jarvis of Mirror Entertainment. I have been playing guitar for the last 10 years and absolutely love it. I studied privately under Christian Fabian of the Lionel Hampton Trio for several years, and under his tutelage became quite comfortable with the instrument. I am a Junior at Fordham University, where I am a music major. Professionally, I am the lead singer and guitarist of my band, Loogaru, based out of New York City. We are currently recording our first album and play gigs around the city. In terms of musical influence, I am a huge fan of Rock and Roll. My influences include the Beatles (obviously), the Stones, Neil Young, Nirvana, etc. I also have a love for delta blues and am proficient in blues solo guitar and improv.

Formal Education:

I attended Fordham University for the last three years and am studying theory and history under Dr. Daniel Ott, a professor of the Julliard school.

I was taught by Christian Fabian of the Lionel Hampton Trio for 6 years.

Performing Experience:

I have been in bands and performing regularly for the last 6 years, including my current band, Loogaru.

Experience Teaching:

To date I have taught two friends how to play.
