Hello there! My name is Ms. Regina and I am a music educator. I was born and raised in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas. My music journey began in elementary school when I began playing the trumpet, and since then, my love for music has grown exponentially. From an early age, I felt destined for this field due to my strong passion for music. This passion drove me to explore various musical genres and instruments, deepening my understanding and appreciation for the art form. Since my Sophomore year of high school, I have had the wonderful opportunity to perform in the All-Area Wind Ensembles, All-Area Jazz ensembles, and All-Region Full Orchestras. I was even one of the few selected Trumpeter to be featured twice at Battle of the Bands. I've also participated in outside ensembles throughout Texas since 2012. After graduating from Sandra Day O'Connor High School, I was accepted into the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Music Education. Since attending UTSA, I've been a part of SOSA The Spirit of San Antonio Marching Band as well as the Symphonic, Wind, Orchestra, Jazz, Trumpet, and Brass Ensembles. All of these ensembles have performed a wide variety of challenging music that has helped me become a better and more efficient musician and teacher. Since then, I've been working as a Masterclass instructor for various schools and districts. I look forward to the opportunity to continue inspiring and transforming students' lives through music while creating lasting memories along the way!
