Michael began playing drums at the age of eight. Over the years, he developed his skills further by taking lessons after being self taught. He gained performance experience in the Denver area by playing at such venues as The Bluebird and Fox Theater and with acts such as The Losers Club. Though Michael can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are punk and metal, which had great influence on his style of playing. Michael loves music because it is always there for him and loves teaching music because he wants to inspire the next generation of great artists.
