John has dedicated his life to helping artists of all ages and skill levels find their true voices. Whether teaching in-person or connecting with students across various time zones online, John's unwavering dedication to his students and his passion for music shines through in every lesson he delivers. A true maestro of vocal mechanics, John possesses an extraordinary talent for identifying the movement at the heart of the sounds each voice creates and how to optimize them. He's collaborated with professional artists and producers from Hollywood to Utah's Wasatch Front and surrounding areas. He honed his craft under the guidance of Grammy-award-winning vocal coach Brad Chapman. John is also the dynamic lead vocalist of the original rock band Wasting Tuesday! He's shared the stage with several other bands, including The Muscolino Band, The Family Gallows, Quadzilla, and The Past 10s, while also showcasing his talents in solo acoustic performances. In addition to his work as a coach and performer, John has lent his voice to commercials and has proudly sung the national anthem at numerous professional sporting events, including the memorable Salt Lake Bees home opener in 2015. With skills that extend beyond singing, John plays guitar, harmonica, and hand percussion, bringing a rich musicality to everything he does.
