Hi my name is Travis. I’ve been playing guitar in bands and touring professionally for periods of my musical career for over 15 years. I grew up in Jonesboro Arkansas and moved to Saint Louis in 2011 and have been in multiple bands and projects since then. I love all genres and types of music for the most part. My favorites to teach are advanced to intermediate lead guitar techniques geared toward jazz, rock, metal. I also really love pop music and songwriting techniques with applying the less is more approach when constructing music and solos. I took private jazz lessons for a summer and only taught for about 2 years privately between 2020 and 2022. I really enjoyed it and have always wanted to get back to it. It is a great feeling to introduce someone to the joy the guitar can bring.
