Laura has always loved music from an early age. She began playing piano at the age of 7 and continued her education by joining and graduating from TCC's music program. Her musical influences include Beethoven, Grieg, and Pieczonka. Laura's favorite thing about music is the emotions and expression musicians are able to pour into their music, and her favorite thing about teaching music is getting to know a diverse spread of students personalities and skill levels. One of her favorite teaching experiences was when a student first got all of her notes right on a note review. When taking lessons with Laura you can expect a patient and fun enviroment catered to you and your needs as a student.
