Hi, my name is John but I go by Charlie. I have been playing the electric guitar for almost 3 years now and I love it. I started out with just simple chords and I am now playing solos from CCR, to Luke Combs, to Ozzy Ozbourne. I am now looking to begin passing along my skills to other aspiring musicians. Many of my instructors say that I would do very well in this work. I am still in high school at Trident Academy not Trident Tech and I will be graduating in 2026. I would love any opportunity available. Thank you for your consideration.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
They can expect to be taught techniques that will actually aid them in playing the songs that they want. They can expect me to challenge them some and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone. They can expect to learn effective practice habits and tools to accelerate their growth.
Formal Education:
I am currently in High School at Trident Academy and I am set to graduate in 2026. I am looking to go into a bachelor's program for contemporary music production.
Private Education:
I take my own guitar lessons at a local shop in Mount Pleasant. Even though I am an advanced guitarist, I am always looking for ways to improve my skill and technique.
Performing Experience:
I have only performed once in front of a public audience. I have performed several times at organized private gigs. I do look to re-enter performing as I really enjoyed it. I may recommend for some of my students to do the same.
Experience Teaching:
I do not have any official teaching experience. However, I have worked as a mentor figure with many other musicians and groups. My methods of teaching come from how I was taught by a former instructor of mine. His teaching methods involved breaking songs into chunks to make it easier to learn, as well as making sure the songs were performance ready even if they weren't being performed.
