From an early age, I became engaged in choirs and acappella groups, continuing my training at the Old Town School of Folk Music before earning an A.A. in Vocal Performance from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. I learned in an environment that taught not just technical proficiency, but also expression, stage presence, and audience connection. This immersive approach shaped me as not only a musician, but as an artist as well. I’m excited to bring that level of guidance and nurturing to my students. My teaching philosophy centers on helping vocalists unlock their full potential, from foundational techniques like breath control, resonance, and pitch to building a strong mixed voice, expanding range, building stamina. I focus on tailoring lessons to each student’s unique voice while also emphasizing performance skills like stage presence, mic technique, and overcoming nerves. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students go from uncertainty to owning their voice with confidence.
