Leah L.

Leah is a singer/songwriter and an actor/director based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has been the lead singer and band manager of her group, Funky Gatos, for 12 years. The Funky Gatos have played everything from music festivals and large events, to bars and restaurants. Leah has won many awards for her work as a vocalist including 1st place at the Abq Has Talent Competition, NM Has Talent, and the Venus Awards. She has also won several awards for her work as a director and has appeared in TV shows like, “Roswell, NM” and “Better Call Saul”. Leah also starred in a local production of, “American Idiot! The Musical-as Extraordinary Girl. With Leah’s experience both as an instructor and an entertainer, she is the ideal instructor for any student wanting to become both an excellent trained singer as well as a stunning performer! Though pop music is her specialty, Leah can teach any genre, and is passionate about guiding her students in the type of music they enjoy most! She looks forward to working with new students at any level. Helping them build confidence and skill as a vocal artist.
