I spent over a decade as a highly regarded performance coach and voice teacher in Los Angeles, California. As a third-generation musician, vocalist, and songwriter, I’m proud to be the daughter of blues legend Kenny and a member of the world-renowned family. Growing up immersed in the art of performance, I developed a deep passion for music and the study of the voice. As an instructor, I love helping people discover their unique identities as vocalists, performers, artists, and storytellers. It is my belief that even the most inexperienced singer has something special that makes their voice unique. My job is to help them find and explore that part of themselves. I combine this encouraging approach with over 20 years of experience studying the voice and touring the world as a professional singer. Along with my performance background and deep family roots in blues and soul, I hold a specialist certification in vocal jazz, R&B, and pop/rock from Berklee College of Music. I frequently perform both as a solo artist and as a member of the Family Blues Band. With a background as an Orff Schulwerk-trained elementary music teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the music studio, making me a dynamic educator and mentor to students of all ages. While I primarily specialize in voice, I also enjoy working with beginner musicians interested in learning guitar, ukulele, and piano.
