Joseph is an American composer and pianist. His compositions are often influenced by science and nature, and he writes for a variety of acoustic ensembles and electronica. His works have been performed by American cellist Jason Calloway and the Florida Atlantic University Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Laura Joella. He has recently been named the winner of the Inaugural Eric Shaw Excellence in Music Composition Award. He studied Commercial Music at Florida Atlantic University where he studied music composition with Kevin Wilt, film scoring with Michael Zager, classical piano with Feruza Dadabaeva, jazz piano with David Hammer, organ with Philip Hinton, and conducting with Laura Joella. While at FAU, he served as the pianist for Candela: The FAU Salsa and Latin Jazz Ensemble and was the Vice President of Hoot/Wisdom Recordings. In addition, he won first place in the FAU Film Scoring Contest in 2022 and the Eric Shaw Excellence in Composition Award in 2023, where his composition, Bermuda Triangle was premiered by the FAU Symphony Orchestra.
