Hi, my name is Justina. I am a 33 year old female from Oregon! I have been a student of music for 25+ years! My musical influences include Phil Collins, Lenny Kravitz, Adele, Muse, Coldplay, Bob Marley, and many more. My teaching style can best be described as unique and ordinary. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I teach from the soul and heart. In my lessons, you can expect to learn. I like to tell my students "practice makes perfect". My favorite thing about teaching is the happiness of success and growth. My favorite performance was my solo ensemble performance I did in seventh grade. My students love that I am cheerful and happy and patient. I primarily teach vocal lessons, but can also teach beginning guitar as well. My approach as a teacher is to allow my students to not only find but feel and hear the voice that was given to them and to thrive through the love of music and the opportunities and abilities and connections with others that it can bring. Singing is my go to when I don't have any other instruments with me or a radio. I have been singing since I can remember and have been blessed With the gift of being able to sing by ear. I enjoy all types of music.

I started playing guitar when I was 5. I've been singing and humming tunes since I can remember. I won solo ensemble 2nd place in seventh grade. I have written my own music and would love to help others create theirs. I have been in many recording studios. I've done life performances in the greater Portland metro area. I have taught lessons to friends and family as well.
