Hi there! My name is Ashlyn. I have 2 years of of experience teaching music general and choir in K-12 public schools. I bring a deep understanding of how students learn and grow musically at every stage. My passion for vocal music led me to pursue a degree in Music Education-Voice at Stetson University in DeLand, FL. Currently, I am furthering my expertise by pursuing a masters degree in vocal pedagogy, with a focus on healthy vocal technique and individualized instruction. Whether you're just starting your vocal journey or looking to refine your skills, I offer a supportive environment tailored to your goals. My teaching philosophy blends my classroom experience with evidence-based vocal training, helping students build confidence, versatility, and a lifelong love for singing. I have taken piano lessons for 8 years and would love to inspire the next generation of pianists! When I am not singing or teaching I love to read a good book, catch up on new TV shows, and play with my white tabby cat Freddie.
