Hi, my name is Micah, and I am a 31-year-old classical singer from Los Angeles. I have been a student of music for 20 years. My musical influences include opera, musical theater, and contemporary music, and I also enjoy playing guitar. My teaching style can best be described as growth based. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that everyone has the potential to discover their next big breakthrough. In my lessons, you can expect to learn fundamentals, artistic delivery, control, and technique, and a fun and healthy method of making music. I like to tell my students never stop singing, never stop creating. My favorite thing about teaching is when it 'clicks' for the student. My favorite performance was as Horton the Elephant in Seussical. My students love that I encourage and believe in them, and also help them grow. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach guitar.
