I have been a college music instructor for the past 18 years, during which I have served as a band director and department chair, taught applied lessons in low brass, guitar, and bass, and led the instruction and coordination of my school’s music business program. Music has been at the heart of my life since age 11, when I began playing trombone in band and drums on the side. Throughout my collegiate and professional career, I have performed in rock and jazz bands, concert and marching bands, and a wide range of small ensembles. I also have symphony orchestra experience as both a trombonist and percussionist.
