I am a professional drummer who enjoys playing gigs and teaching drums. I am married with two children. My favorite band is YES and my favorite music genre is classic rock.

Formal Education:
Associate in arts degree from Black Hawk College. Bachelor's of Science Degree from Western Illinois University.
Private Education:
Private piano lessons for seven years. Private drum lessons for twenty-two years. Private percussion lessons for ten years.
Performing Experience:
I am currently in four local bands. I have participated in elementary, junior high, and high school concert bands, jazz bands, marching bands, and show choir pit. I was also a member of the All City Junior Jazz Band, Black Hawk College jazz band and jazz combos. As well as the University of Iowa jazz bands, jazz combos, Latin jazz ensemble, and steel drum ensemble.
Experience Teaching:
Drum Instructor at Quad City Rock Academy. Drum Instructor at Guitar Center. Private Drum Instructor from home and was a Drum Instructor at the Second Baptist Church Music Academy.
