Music has been a part of my life since childhood, with drums being my first instrument at the age of 8. I started out playing at my parents’ church in South Africa and later relocated to Dallas, where I now serve at my local church as both a drummer and videographer. While I was primarily self-taught, I also took lessons at Christ for the Nations Institute CFNI, where I learned to read drum music and refine my technique. As a teacher, I focus on helping students build a strong foundation in the fundamentals while encouraging them to explore their unique sound and passion for drumming. I find joy in seeing students grow in confidence and skill as they develop their God-given musical talents.
