I'm a lifelong student and teacher, with 5 years of teaching experience at Maine Coast Waldorf School in Freeport Maine, as well as hundreds of hours of private tutoring.
Nathan Do. has over 15 years of music experience in the Pownal area.
Nathan Do. is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Orchestral Lessons .Formal Education:
I studied cello rigorously at the Pennsylvania Academy of Music for 5 years. This included weekly orchestra rehearsals, string quartets and other chamber groups, theory classes, and private lessons. I was coached by world-class musicians Michael Jamanis, Matthew Herren, Sara Male and others.
Private Education:
I had 11 years of private cello instruction under several teachers, and 10 years of private piano lessons with the same teacher.
Performing Experience:
I have performed in hundreds of concerts as a member of orchestras, small chamber groups, and as a soloist. I have performed in the Chinese cities of Shanghai, Beijing, Xining, and Lhasa as part of the Music Bridge in Tibet Festival in 2006.
Experience Teaching:
Five years of formal teaching experience at Maine Coast Waldorf High School (Math and Physics), as well as experience in teaching music theory, piano, and cello.
