I have a Bachelors in Music, in Vocal Performance at Boston University and have taught voice in the Sarasota/Bradenton area for 18 years. I am a professional soprano soloist & opera singer and have sung in professional choirs as section leader & soloist in Bradenton & Sarasota. I appeared as soloist with Anna Maria Chorus & Orchestra. Currently, I am a choir member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bradenton. I have sung leading roles in Boston and New England including the Opera Company of Boston and throughout New England, with Cambridge Opera, Lowell Opera, Boston University Opera, Elliot House Opera among others. At Sanders Theatre, I sang the leading role of Constanza in Mozart's opera, The Abduction from the Seraglio; recorded live by the Boston radio station. My performance and teaching career spans many years. I taught at Allegro Music Academy for 5 years, after which, I taught private lessons at my vocal studio, including many students in the Sarasota Youth Opera, as well as students from local schools. I have a broad knowledge of sacred and secular music, opera, and Broadway theater music and am proficient in teaching language & pronunciation including Italian, German, French, and Latin.
