Alexi began playing guitar and singing at the age of 10 years old when she picked up her Dad's electric Fender. Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking lessons and eventually study popular music at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She gained performance experience by performing with the University chorus and bands. This included performing in front of various audiences including the Kavis Center of Performing Arts. Upon graduation, she continued to sing at her church and teach vocal and guitar lessons at a local music academy. Though Alexi can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are contemporary, singer-songwriter, and pop, which have great influence on her style of playing.
