Sam is a Drumset player and Percussionist located in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Sam has been studying the drums since he was 9 years old. He continued on to receive his graduate degree in Jazz Performance from Arizona State University where he had the pleasure of studying with Lewis Nash. With his many years working as a professional performing musician, as well as his 10 years of teaching experience, Sam has a lot to offer in a private lesson studying. He is dedicated to ensuring his students are prepared for their musical future. Sam places an emphasis on reading, technique, and musicality all within the lens of music that his students are interested in. Sam always remains flexible, understanding that all of his students are different and all want to have fun learning!
