Seth C.

Tenor Seth originally from Lima, Ohio and was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He’s always had a love for singing that can only be explained in a supernatural manner. Subsequently, he’s always worked to build a career and life around this. Mr.has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. During his undergraduate years, he sang with the Miami University Chamber Singers, also serving as the ensemble’s tenor section leader, during his entire undergraduate career at Miami. He served as the assistant director of the Miami University Gospel Singers (MUGS). He also was the founder and President of the Student National Association for Teachers of Singing (Student NATS or SNATS) chapter at Miami. Mr.has also performed in a number of productions with both Miami University Opera Theatre and the Dayton Opera, including but not limited to the following: Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance, Puccini’s Turandot and Madama Butterfly, Bizet’s Carmen, Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci, Handel’s Messiah, and Verdi’s Otello and Requiem. Seth has also placed as a winner in the professional category in several international competitions for classical singers such as the Euterpe Music Awards, the Charleston International Music Competition, and the European Virtuoso Music Awards, just to name a few. In addition to this, Seth D.has served as the tenor soloist at St. George's Episcopal Church in Dayton, Ohio, and more recently at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church in Indian Hill, Ohio, a Cincinnati suburb. Having taught voice for over a decade, Mr. ’ students have had much success in their music endeavors after studying with him. Many have pursued degrees in music for themselves, and/or participate in community and professional choruses. Some are currently music educators, licensed to teach music to grades K-12, and actively having impact in their respective public schools and communities. pires to soon pursue a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance, to ultimately become a college music professor and lecturer in Applied Voice and Vocal Pedagogy.
