Donald began playing Percussion at the age of four. Over the years, he developed his skills further by marching and teaching drum corps. He gained performance experience in the east coast area by playing at such venues as WGI finals and with acts such as Revelations 2018 “Loud and Clear”. Though Donald can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Jazz which had great influence on his style of playing.Donald loves music because Polyrhythms and bands like Animals as Leaders. Donald loves teaching music because hybrid rudiments and grids use to be a real struggle for me but I found a real great method to teach them. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, Donald can help you expand and enhance your playing. Donald is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals.
