About Me

Andrew is a captivating and exciting young pianist who inspires his audience and seeks to share his love and passion for music. Born in San Jose, California in 2001, he began his piano studies with Larisa Konokova of the Pacific Music Academy at the age of five. He graduated in 2024 from the Peabody Institute of Music of the Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance under the acclaimed Professor Steven Spooner. He is continuing his studies there, pursuing a Master of Music in piano specialization. Andrew is a prizewinner in the Gustav Mahler International, World Piano Teachers Association Finland, United States International Music, and United States Open Music Competitions. Andrew is also a dedicated instructor with experience teaching piano students of all levels and ages. He seeks to connect with his students to create a lesson plan tailored to each student’s specific needs. Andrew’s love for teaching comes from his love for watching people grow and learn. His primary goal as an instructor is to not only teach his students music but also to teach them life skills that go beyond music and mentor them to become more thoughtful, dedicated individuals.
