Sonata D.

Hello! My name is Sonata, and yes, I am named after the musical term "Sonata!" Music is in my DNA as my mother is a professional violinist and my father is a professional vocalist! I studied Alto Saxophone performance at University while also learning other woodwinds, such as flute, clarinet...piano of course, and I also sing! I also have experience in theater, musical-theater as well! My musical influences range from Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Gtez, Sonny Sitt, to Led Zeppelin, Ray Charles, Little Richard, and beyond! I love any music I can sing to, dance to, or appreciate instrumentation or writing to! My teaching style can best be described as enthusiastic, energetic, and exciting! My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that inspire learners to fire their passion! In my lessons, you can expect to learn and apply a new lesson! I enjoy telling my students "you can do it!" Or "that was great!" My favorite thing about teaching is inspiring learners to be a better version of themselves!
