Hi, my name is Caleb and I am a French Horn player from Kansas City. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences include Leonard Bernstein and I also enjoy Laufey. My teaching style can best be described as celebrating the wins! My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I meet my students where they are. In my lessons, you can expect to learn habits that will help you be your own best teacher. I like to tell my students to get creative. My favorite thing about teaching is finding what gets each student excited. My favorite performance was Dvorak 8 in Smetana Hall. My students love that I look for new ways to teach each lesson. I primarily teach French Horn, but I can also teach Trumpet, Music Theory, or basic proficiency on Piano, Guitar, and Bass Guitar. My approach as a teacher is to get my students excited about music!
