Hi! My name is Ilijah Red, and I’m a passionate music artist, producer, and guitarist with a deep love for storytelling through sound. I primarily create and produce bedroom pop and indie pop, but I’m well-versed in the general concepts of audio engineering, which allows me to explore and teach across a wide range of genres comfortably. Whether it’s laying down clean vocal tracks, arranging ambient textures, or dialing in a punchy mix, I strive to make each track feel like a personal expression. Beyond the studio, I’ve also performed live shows around the DFW area, including in Carrollton, Denton, Plano, and Dallas, which has helped me understand both the technical and emotional sides of music. I also play guitar, which often becomes a central part of my songwriting and production workflow. As an instructor, I aim to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students can learn the technical foundations of music production while discovering their artistic voice. I believe in keeping things approachable and hands-on, whether we’re talking about signal flow, mixing techniques, or creative arrangement. I’m excited about the opportunity to help students grow as producers and confident, expressive artists.
