About Me

Hi! My name is Ariel. I am a percussionist and pianist about to attend the Manhattan School of Music for a BM in Percussion Performance. While my formal teaching experience is fairly low, throughout high school I have strived to act as a mentor to younger musicians, and have acted in leadership positions such as drum major of the marching band 2 years. My performance experience is also fairly extensive, reaching past high school ensembles to things like All State Band, All Eastern Orchestra, gigging with a jazz combo, and the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. I will only be available summers as I will be a student at MSM during other times of the year, but I would love to teach anyone interested in drums, percussion, or piano.

I am happy to work with students on wherever their interests lie in drum set. I can recommend a variety of method books to assist them in their studies. I am comfortable in most styles of drumming and have had lots of performance experience.

I am happy to teach anyone beginning piano. I can recommend method books to assist in your studies and have lots of experience studying piano and performing as a choral accompanist.
