Rhys is a percussionist and educator in the Denver Metro area. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Classical Percussion Performance, and specializes in Band and Orchestral Percussion, but also has experience in World Percussion from numerous cultures around the world including Ghana, Cuba, Japan, Thailand, and Middle Eastern/Arabic percussion, as well as numerous styles under the umbrella of Jazz drum set playing, as well as marching percussion. He has experience working with students at all levels and ages, young children to adults and beginners to experienced players.
