Hi, I'm Raquel! I was trained under renowned vocal coaches in Hollywood, California who's clients ranged from Michael Jackson to Dua Lipa. The approach I take is effective in building power and longevity in your vocal range, focusing on building your mix so you can navigate through your bridges seamlessly! As a professional songwriter and sound healer, I can also guide you through learning the craft of songwriting and how to build a career doing what you love. Having attended the Los Angeles Recording School and working with Digital Audio Workstations since I was 12 years old, I am happy to invite my students into the recording process, walking with them through the journey of taking a song from idea to completion. Piano lessons are offered as an introduction to give beginners a foundational understanding of music theory. All of my lessons are geared towards helping you use music as your artistic medium, immersing you in the technique and language of music. Rather than teaching stale, confusing, outdated concepts like most classical teachers, I will always strive to keep your joy and passion flowing as you follow the sacred calling of unlocking your sound.

Let's talk about your goals! I customize sessions individually for each budding artist. Whether you want to focus on vocal training, ear training, how to approach songwriting, where to begin when it comes to creating an album... the sky is the limit. I will listen to your goals and use my intuition and experience to determine the best way to invest our time, for your benefit!

(That method is no longer offering teacher certifications, so I cannot claim affiliation.) Now located in Sarasota, Florida I offer lessons in person as well as online. Piano lessons are geared more towards learning music theory than reading music.
