Hi! I am a 15 year old student at Franklin high-school, I love music, volleyball and kids. When I was little my first private instructor gave me an amazing gift and id love to be able to pass that on

Desmond J. has over 6 years of music experience in the Renton area.

Formal Education:

Ive been in school concert band and orchestra for 4 years. I made section lead as a freshman, I am an active participant in the south end high-school pep band and marching band and i was accepted into the Musicians Institute Summer Shot youth program for drums.

Private Education:

I took private lessons for 4 years with Josh Kossak of the Rumba Kings along with many other bands, a very experienced musician and a big inspiration for me to this day.

Performing Experience:

I have lots of experience performing. Rather that be for a school concert or my own personal bands. I recently placed second in a regional concert band competition. I also have experience performing as an actor.

Experience Teaching:

I was a teacher's assistant for multiple years. I love kids and I've always enjoyed working with them. i have experience working with children as young as 8 years old.
