Aaliyah C.

Aaliyah has been involved with music for many years, starting as young as 7 years old when she first grabbed a bass guitar. From then on, she learned guitar, drums, and greatly developed her vocal skills. She started her teaching in her freshman year of high school with a small class of 3rd graders, teaching them ukulele. As she got older, joining chorus her sophomore year, she developed a further love for singing and became a section leader, as well as assistant director. This grew her love for teaching, alongside singing. With teaching and playing music, Aaliyah also has experience in performance, group and solo. She started playing in bands when she turned 10 years old and hasn't stopped since. She's played in rock bands, sang in choirs, performed acoustic sets with her and her guitar, and sang solo jazz pieces. She has a deep love for music and wants nothing else than to share that with her students.
