He began playing guitar and bass at the age of 7 and continued his education by attending the University of Rochester to pursue majors in music and computer science. His musical influences include rock guitarists like Jimi Hendrix & Jimmy Page and jazz artists like Wes Montgomery & Herbie Hancock. Varen's favorite thing about music is simply being able to share different types of music with the people he interacts with on a daily basis.
