About Me

Hi, my name is Amanda, I am a vocalist from McMinnville Oregon. I have been a student of music for 10+ years. My musical influences include Jazz, Pop, Alternative and Opera. My teaching style can best be described as understanding and relatable. My teaching philosophy can be described by saying that I never give up until I achieve my goals. In my lessons, you can expect to learn pitch, rhythm and dynamics. I'd like to tell my students that even if you know nothing about singing you can still learn! I knew nothing when I started, andnow it’s my favorite thing to do. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth that comes from my students over time. My favorite performances are anything I do with my band. Connecting to an audience is one of my favorite things to share. I primarily teach vocals, but I can also teach basic piano skills.
