Hi, my name is Lonnie and I am an engineer and producer from Mesquite, TX. I have been a student of music for nearly 20 years. My musical genres of choice include rock, hip-hop, blues, and R&B. My teaching style can best be described as being tailored to your needs, whatever they may be. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that there are multiple ways to achieve what you want, but I can find what helps you harness the sound you're searching for. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to track vocals, instruments, chop samples, manipulate samples, and mix your tracks. I like to tell my students the best part about this entire process is the beginning. The exploration, the discovery. The journey starts now. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the light bulbs turn on when a student finally "gets it". My students love that I listen to what their goals are before instructing them. While there are processes I will never overlook when it comes to teaching the proper way to record, there is so much space to carve out the way you can run your sessions.
