Marquiec began playing percussion at the age of 3 years old. Over the years, he developed his skills further by joining the marching band, jazz and wind orchestra throughout school. He gained performance experience in Miami, New Orleans and New York by playing at such venues as large as Jazz fest and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Though Marquiec can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites is jazz which had great influence on his style of playing.Marquiec loves music because it heals and loves teaching music because it expands one’s vocabulary of expression and connection.
