Hi, I'm Dalton! Trombone is my main instument but I also double on guitar. I have been playing trombone for 10 years and guitar for 12 years. I studied trombone at East Tennessee State University and graduated with a degree in Contemporary Music Performance. I studied under a multi-time Grammy winner and have played with members of groups such as Snarky Puppy, Spyro Gyra, and The Adam Larson Trio.I have performed in many groups across different genres, like jazz big band, jazz combo, wind ensemble, trombone ensemble, etc. While I enjoy and play many different styles of music, jazz is my passion! If you want to start learning about jazz or expand your knowledge then I'd love to work with you, even if you play a different instrument! If you are a trombone player then we can work on any genre you enjoy.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
If you are a trombone player, we will have a large focus on fundmentals. We can also work on any music you may be working on in school or find solos that you are interested in working on. If you are interested in jazz lessons on any horn, we will work on improvisation techniques and ideas and learn the melodies and chord changes to jazz standards.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
We will go over the basics of guitar, such as how it is tuned, basic chords, simple songs to play early on, etc. If you already know all that, we can work on improvisation and cliches of whatever genre you are interested in, as well as advanced chords and chord shapes.
