Hi, my name is Joseph and I am a guitar player, singer, and songwriter from Safety Harbor, FL. I have been a student of music for 23 years! I started on the bass guitar and migrated to the 6 string several years later. My musical influences are many and varied, I listen to nearly anything and everything and am extremely open minded when it comes to music. My teaching style can best be described as comprehensive but easy going. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I primarily want to make sure you are enjoying the process. In my lessons, you can expect to learn everything from basic techniques, to songwriting skills, and even broaching into advanced music theory. I like to tell my students to never give up on music, as it's like a good friend that will accompany you for life. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing a student's face light up when they accomplish something.. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach a little singing technique. My approach as a teacher is to make sure you're comfortable, as well as kind and patient with yourself.
