Immanuel has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums at the age of 2 and continued his education by studying music intensely throughout middle and highschool and even after he continues to study and expand his craft independently. His musical influences include Funk, Rock, Gospel, Jazz, Latin, Afrobeat and a host of other genres. Immanuel 's favorite thing about music is the feeling and joy it brings and his favorite thing about teaching music is to help others experience the feeling of overcoming and growing at something using persistence, consistency, and hard work. One of his favorite teaching experiences was watching one of my students ace a solo we worked on.
