Hi I’m Li. I was born into a musician’s life, my father is a performer, as was his father and grandfather before him. As a kid, I tried to cut corners in my music education only to find the scenic route to learning the fundamentals of understanding music. My teaching aims to save my students some time, it starts with -charting a path based on students’ interests, abilities, and motivation, -then developing a plan that demystifies the steps towards that destination. -documenting that journey to reflect progress to my fellow learners. Music and learning are 2 way streets. I stand with my students at the crossing and teach them how to read the signals.
