I'm August, and I am a vocalist and woodwind instrumentalist hailing from Sioux City, Iowa. Music has been my passion from an early age. I love how music has the ability to form cultural connections and bring joy to all. I just recently completed my Music Education degree at VanderCook College of Music, where my love for teaching music has flourished. My favorite thing about teaching music is helping my students find their confidence and create art in a meaningful way.
