Terry has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 9 and continued his education by teacher and self teaching. His musical influences include Counting Crows, Dave Mathews, and Jimi Hendrix. Terry's favorite thing about music is the way he find peace losing himself in it and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing others experience the same feeling. One of his favorite teaching experiences was seeing his first student become able to play along with him so they could jam and make music together.
