I studied vocal music at Taylor University and have been actively involved in vocal performance and education for several decades. Since 2010, I have offered private vocal lessons on and off, tailoring instruction to a wide range of student needs and skill levels. I have been a dedicated member of Sweet Adelines International since 1986, performing in choruses and singing in quartets since 1995. During this time, I have earned multiple medals in quartet competitions and have contributed to the organization in numerous coaching and educational roles. For over 20 years, I have provided Private Vocal Instruction (PVIs) within Sweet Adelines, and I’ve coached both quartets and choruses in preparation for regional and international competitions. In addition to my work with adult performers, I have a strong commitment to youth music education. I’ve served for many years as a quartet coach for middle and high school students at Harmony Camp in Columbus, helping young singers develop their vocal skills and confidence in ensemble singing. My vocal experience also includes a variety of musical theater and classical performances, further enriching my perspective as both a performer and instructor. Through these diverse experiences, I bring a deep understanding of vocal technique, ensemble singing, and performance artistry to all my teaching and coaching endeavors.
