Justin began playing trumpet at the age of 8, but fell in love with drumming in middle school. Over the years, he developed his skills further by participating in many school music groups, but then moving on to independent bands. He gained performance experience in the San Diego area by playing at such venues as House of Blues and Brick by Brick, with acts such as Powerman 5000 and Unearth. Though Justin can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Rock and Metal which had great influence on his style of playing .Justin loves music because it helps people, including the musicians, in so many ways and loves teaching music because you can see a persons mind open more to the world.
