Hello! My name is Thomas, and I have approximately eleven years of piano experience in total. I began taking private lessons when I was six years old, which continued until I was about seventeen. I had a five-year active-duty military career, followed by nearly six years in Emergency Medical Services. I began self-teaching again almost four years ago, and decided I wanted to change careers again, so here I am! I've spent the last year attending my state university's music education program and will be continuing to do so in hopes of becoming a High School music director. I've performed in various solo and piano ensemble settings associated with the university, as well as the university jazz ensemble (though my jazz skills need some work). My primary genre of focus is classical music, specifically the baroque, classical, and romantic eras. Though I'm fairly new to teaching, I'm enthusiastic about learning from my students while also educating them!
