About Me

Hi, my name is Keila and I am a sophomore from Osbourn High School. I have been a student of music for 8 years, and I enjoy helping students become even better vocalists and flourish in the hard work they put in. My teaching style can best be described as unique. In my lessons, you can expect to learn taller vowels, darker tone, and breath support. I like to tell my students that music is an expression of our emotions and a way to tell a story to our audience. My favorite thing about teaching is the whole process of seeing my student learn and build up there confidence. My favorite performance was my Spring concert in May, where the theme was “ A Night On Broadway”. My students love that I and clear with my instructions. I primarily teach the alto vocal part, but I can also teach tenor and soprano. My approach as a teacher is to provide support, the right technique to get them to where they need to be, and to have fun while doing it! Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
